Multi Textured House

As well as the 15 300 drawings, Bob produced some 120 images on canvas. He signed none of his works and there is no way to date their production.

15 300 Unique Drawings

Bob organised 15 300 of his drawing into 50 envelopes. If, as I am assuming, he did this in chronological order the photo below is of  the 15 251st to 15 300th of the drawing he considered worth preserving.

We have not tried to interpret the images or set their orientation in this first look, simply copied then as they were placed in the envelopes.  Pictures must be read in groups of four starting from the top left and moving to the right before moving to the next row to give their order. Within each group they run clockwise starting at the top left. The right hand side of each picture was at the top of the envelope.

Canvases - Titles and Orientations

Bob left his canvases in piles under newspaper in the attic of the house in Pegomas. All canvases were unsigned , were not dated and had no indication of title or subject. The only indication was that there did nor seem to be any newspaper covering the drawing that was more recent than 1998.

Up until now what you see online is the my interpretation of the canvases - I have decided which side is up and named the canvases based on my interpretation and my feelings. As more people become involved and we go deeper into Bob's writings and drawing we might come to hang this. Alternately you could ignore my influence and use the catalogue numbers we have developed.
